No one is certain of what this means, though interpretations abound. The passage does refer to those who overcome and their rewards. What I love about it is the individuality or intimacy. Something between each of us and the risen Christ.
McGee thinks it may refer to a name for Christ that is known only to each of us. Maybe it is a name by which each of us alone may call Him. We all obtain salvation and eternal life, but what this personal reward is, we may have to wait to find out.
