Shortly after she put on her eye makeup and fixed her hair, Jezebel, wife of King Ahab, was thrown from a window to be eaten by dogs. She was married into the royal family, but instead of being buried in a tomb, the yard man picked her up with a Pooper Scooper.
A short list of the sins of this Phoenician princess, who married into the royal family of Israel, would show why even her name is hated. She caused her husband to worship Baal. She killed many of the prophets of God, she contrived to have Naboth killed so her husband could have Naboth's vineyard. So her manner of death is appropriate.
As far as I can see, her wickedness is the most outstanding of any woman. In Revelation 2:20 Jesus invokes her name in condemning the sins of the church of Thyatira. The whore of Babylon may dress up to try to appeal to the faithful, but to the believer she is still dog dung.
